Red Bull Music Festival Toronto

Red Bull Music Festival took over non-traditional venues across Toronto across 4 nights with unique music experiences and one-night-only affairs that connected music fans across genres including a one-of-a-kind experience designed with and starring Toronto's own grammy-nominated rising star Jessie Reyez. Somewherelse handled all production and talent management elements for the entire festival.

Somewherelse is often the backbone behind the scenes whenever Red Bull Canada is seeking to reaffirm themselves as a leader in music and culture, As the trusted production partner, we handled numerous elements for the entire festival, including experiential production, talent management, stage & lighting design, event management, working closely alongside the brand and creative collaborators to make Red Bull Music Festival Toronto stand out.

  • Looking back on the @serviettemagazine launch event we produced at the very end of summer at the gorgeous @avlingto. 💐

We designed this event with sustainability in mind: using seed paper for an event passport, recyclable signage, and re-using as many existing assets as we could from our warehouse.

There was was a special performance from @seastillmusic, using plants to create music, and a flower bar facilitated by @growingtkaronto. Some of the ingredients for food were foraged by @nfftt and prepared by Avling Brewery's chef @ridetowander. 💚

Special thanks to @drinkbarbet for the flavourful bubbling water and @veradek for the privacy screen we used to create a display.

  • As part of TIFF 2022, we were responsible for co-production of Festival Street and the Red Carpet Experience at David Pecaut Square. We also produced the 'Mirror Moment' on Festival Street, an installation created to celebrate one of cinema's greatest devices: the mirror. Thank you to @tiff_net for bringing us on and to our whole team for working so hard on this project.

  • We're excited to be producing @serviettemagazine magazine launch party happening next week September 20th from 6:00-9:00PM at @avlingto. On the brink of the autumnal equinox, come and connect over @avlingto drinks and seasonal foods from Executive Chef Eva Chin @ridetowander

Featuring a sound installation made with @fezzstenton / @seastillmusic that uses the magic of vegetables to make music. (Swipe for a preview).

Venture through the layered Avling space, which in itself showcases the journey of food from growth (in the rooftop farm) to consumption (in the restaurant) to regeneration (in the brewery), while experiencing the colours, concepts, and content of @serviettemagazine

Ticket includes complimentary food & two drinks. BYO recycled vessel and take home a local floral arrangement (we'll have extras if you forget.)
