VIRGIN MOBILE SUMMER FESTIVALS
Somewherelse teamed up with Virgin Mobile to build an immersive, hyper-shareable branded environment to appeal to the millennial + Gen Z demographic at Osheaga and Skookum Festivals. Somewherelse engaged Montreal illustrator Nik Brovkin as collaborator on the project, who designed a custom graphic treatment for the experience. Our team built a large scale mirror pillar interactive art installation that travelled across festival partnerships. At Osheaga in Montreal, visitors could engage with an infinity photo experience by texting an emoji to a phone number and the lighting design would react accordingly. At Skookum in Vancouver, a 180 degree photo booth created a moving, colourful GIF that festival attendees could easily share on social media.
