ESCAPE: PRIYANKA’S ICONIC WONDERLAND
In 2023 we received the Reconnect Ontario grant that provides support for festivals and events with a tourism economic impact to motivate visitors to rediscover Ontario, reconnect people with local experiences, and increase tourism spending.
We collaborated with Priyanka, our artist client to create Feeld Presents: ESCAPE: Priyanka’s Iconic Wonderland, a fantastical costume ball. RiVerse kicked off the performances, followed by a special collaborative performance from Priyanka, Fefe Dobson, and Ralph. Phillippe and Nino Brown DJ’d.
We hosted a red carpet with Narcity Media and Curiocity Toronto that featured some notable talent including – Chelsea Clark, Rebecca-Jo Dunham, Hayley Elsaesser and Sarain Fox to name a few. Talent were invited to walk the pink carpet and experience the Feeld VIP Lounge.
The event was praised as “Toronto’s MET Gala for the People”, and a “queer fairy tale”. We collectively created a safe and magical space for self-expression – a one-night utopia, a one-night escape. We wanted to create a space that celebrates Toronto’s iconic performers, and culture movers in fashion, arts & beauty.
